Your association with Don Bosco Alumni is imminient .
Would it be an amazing experience if we “KNOW, LOVE, HELP ONE ANOTHER AND KEEP UNITED” among ourselves by virtues of having attended a Don Bosco institution and its educational system.
We can also become instrument of peace and harmony in the society by cooperating and working together in the spirit and values of DonBosco ( that we imbibe during our school days.
As proof of this we could get news and reports of many events and programmes conducted by the DonBosco Alumni all over the world. Humbly DonBosco Alumni in Imphal is at its nascent stage, yet it could gather up some 300 individuals in Manipur and a few all over the world to observe a candle light vigil on the 5th of April 2009 in the honour of the departed soul of Dr. Thingnam Kishan and his staff who were brutally killed in February 2009.
To continue such movement which springs out from the interest and affection which binds the past pupils to Don Bosco and to the Selesian Family, we would like you to be a part of it. We could maintain and develop the insight and inspiration received at the school of Don Bosco.
We hope you’ll take a deep breath and imagine the things we can do together. We are confident that you’ll find few suggestion and intention that you are willing to share. We have no doubt you will reply promptly, since you have in your hands the chance to take the part that no one else could take.

Minutes of the meeting of DON BOSCO ALUMNI , 26th April, 2009.
As decided earlier a meeting of Don Bosco Alumni was conducted on 26th April ,2009 at 4:30 PM at Don Bosco, Chingmeirom. The meeting begins with the prayer of Don Bosco Alumni. Mr Yambem Laba presided over the meeting. He made the gathering clear that the small attendance should not be a disappointment because every organasation begins with few individuals sticking together to a common purpose. In due course of time the organisation will grow by itself. He reminded the group how Don Bosco Alumni came into being and put forward the benefits of “Old Boy’s Network”. He spoke about the prevailing situation in Manipur and the survival of the institution despite the dead of a priest. He expressed his wish that insurgents demand a good education rather than demanding money from an institution like Don Bosco. He wanted Don Bosco to upgrade to Higher Education in Imphal.
Mr. Anand spoke about the deterrence factor such as higher value of fees, incomplete communication etc. while joining the Alumni.
A tentative office bearer were chosen for effective working of the alumni. The names and post are as follows.
